A little about me.

I'm Kendra, a designer that loves humans, lattes, and psychology.

Before I transitioned to tech, I was a hairdresser for 8 years. This experience finely tuned my problem-solving skills and deepened my understanding of taking an ambiguous brief and asking the right questions to bring a client's vision to life.

I have a working knowledge of development implementation, and enjoy the design process from start to finish. I believe that successful design is not just visually appealing but also functional, intuitive, and capable of making a positive impact on human lives.

My Values

Empathy is important.

We're all human, sharing this planet with similar wants and needs, facing our own battles every day. Empathy is the key to understanding and connection.

Listen to learn, and learn to listen.

Active listening unveils the nuances that often go unnoticed. To truly understand, embrace attentive listening without rushing to formulate a response.

Be the weird one.

Challenge norms and welcome unconventional ideas. World-changing innovation seldom comes from ordinary thinking.

Stay humble.

Embrace imperfection; it's the essence of humanity. Remember, everyone has the capacity for continuous improvement.
